    Booking terms

    Clear terms, no surprises

    How booking, payment and cancellation work for every transfer and tour.

    Booking confirmation

    • Send your booking on WhatsApp or by email. We reply to confirm the price and availability, usually within an hour between 8:00 and 20:00.
    • Your driver's details arrive the day before. Name, photo, vehicle number and WhatsApp number, so you know who to look for.
    • Private tours get a written itinerary. Day-by-day plan, hotels and one total price before you pay anything.

    Payment

    • Transfers and day tours: no prepayment. Pay your driver in Sri Lankan rupees, US dollars, euros or pounds.
    • Private tours: 20% deposit. By bank transfer or card link to confirm; the rest is paid on arrival.
    • Prices are per vehicle, not per person. Fuel, tolls, parking and your driver's costs are included.

    Changes and cancellation

    • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup. For airport transfers and day tours.
    • Flight delayed or cancelled? We move your pickup at no extra cost.
    • Private tours: full refund up to 14 days before arrival. Closer to the date, your deposit can move to new dates.

    When to go

    There's sunshine somewhere every month

      What happens if my flight is delayed?

      We track your flight number, so your driver arrives when you actually land. Waiting caused by a delay is free.

      Where will my driver meet me at Colombo Airport?

      Just outside the arrivals hall exit, holding a sign with your name. We send your driver's name, photo and WhatsApp number the day before.

      Are entrance tickets included in tour prices?

      Prices cover your vehicle, fuel, tolls, parking and your chauffeur-guide. Entrance tickets to sites such as Sigiriya and Dambulla are paid at the gate, and your guide helps you buy them.

      How much luggage can we bring?

      A car takes 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags. A van takes up to 6 large suitcases. Tell us if you have surfboards, golf bags or a pram.

      Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?

      Most visitors need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arrival. Rules change, so check the official Department of Immigration and Emigration website for your passport before you travel.

      What money should I bring?

      The Sri Lankan rupee (LKR). Cards work in most hotels and larger restaurants; carry some cash for tuk-tuks, temples, markets and tips.
